Review: Mujjo leather wallet case is an elegant upgrade for your iPhone 6s

Being fashionable isn't just about your clothing, it's about your accessories too. If you're as attached to your phone as we are, then it's important to make sure it's both protected and stylish. Mujjo's new black leather wallet case for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6s Plus is a sleek and minimalist case which offers protection while also looking great with anything you wear. Mujjo was courteous to send us a review unit of their black leather wallet case for iPhone 6S, and after a couple of months of use the results are in.

If you have butterfingers or are extremely accident prone, then the Mujjo leather wallet case for iPhone 6s isn't for you. One of the reasons that make this case so attractive, its minimalist design, also works against it in providing protection to your device. Now let's be clear here: The Mujjo leather wallet case for iPhone 6s does a superb job of keeping your iPhone safe from scratches and normal wear and tear from picking up and putting down your iPhone onto tables or in and out of your pocket. What it won't do though is keep your phone super safe in the event of a large fall or worse: Water.

Leather phone cases have a reputation for falling apart where they see the most wear: At the corners. Thanks to Mujjo's "moulded edge technology," polished polycarbonate helps reinforce these areas and prevent this. Even after several months of use our Mujjo leather wallet case still looks beautiful. Speaking of looks, the "premium quality vegetable-tanned leather" used to craft this case is gorgeous and feels great on your hands. There's adequate gaps in the sides for your fingers to access the volume, power, and mute buttons of your phone. Curiously though, the top edge isn't covered. The biggest convenience of using the Mujjo leather wallet case is that there's a pocket on the back which can fit a couple of cards or cash. This allows you to skip taking your wallet with you, meaning there's just one less thing to carry.

The leather wallet was stiff for the first week, but as we used it more often it loosened up quite a bit. We kept our license and a credit card in the pocket, and after a couple months of use the pocket still remains tight: Our cards won't be falling out any time soon. The only problem you'll encounter is if you go down from two cards to one. Because the leather has stretched from holding two cards, keeping only a single card in the Mujjo leather wallet case can be problematic as the card can easily slide out when the phone is tipped in landscape mode. When upside down, a single card will fall right out. That's represents potential a nightmare when you go to reach for your license or credit card. We recommend always keeping two cards in the Mujjo leather wallet case to prevent this, or if you must go down to one card then also be sure to use a folded bill to keep your card secure.

In all, the Mujjo leather wallet case is an excellent and stylish choice if you're looking for a minimalist case to protect your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus. There's also a variant 80° case, which stores your cards sideways instead of vertically. The Mujjo leather wallet cases are available in tan, black, and gray from $42.60 and up at Mujjo.com.
