Review: Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves let you text in comfort and style

One of the worst things about winter is having freezing hands. Chances are that you've received a phone call when you're just getting into your car and the heat hasn't turned on yet or while in the middle of an outdoor winter activity such as ice skating or skiing. Previously, in order to use your fancy touchscreen smartphone you've had to take off your gloves and expose your skin to ice cold temperatures. Not anymore with Mujjo's Leather Touchscreen Gloves.

According to Mujjo, their leather touchscreen gloves feature "state of the art nanotechnology" that allow them to "work flawlessly with almost every touchscreen." That's thanks to a unique nanotechnology which "mimics the conductive properties of human skin," which lets you use your touchscreen phone or tablet without taking off your gloves. This author's household has several generations of devices, and after a month of use we can confirm that the Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves work on all phones and tablets. They also work on the Nintendo 3DS, Kindle, and every other touchscreens we've encountered. The Mujjo leather gloves work even if your device has one of the screen protectors that most people use in conjunction with silicone phone cases. Where we had a slight hiccup was with an iPad that had both a screen protector and an Otter Box cover on at the same time. Instead of lightly tapping the screen we needed to press harder for the Mujjo leather gloves to register a touch through the two protective covers. If you only use one protective shield, then you won't have any problems.

The cashmere interior feels extremely comfortable, and we love Mujjo's Ethiopian lambskin leather exterior. There's a fold-over closure with a magnetic snap which makes the Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves fit snugly onto your hand while also preventing them from falling off. Our hands haven't gotten wet once, thanks to the special treatment which makes the Mujjo leather gloves waterproof, windproof, soil resistant, and also anti-microbrial.

Positives:
Use your phone or tablet without taking off your gloves and exposing your hands to the cold.
Super comfortable and stylish.
Water proof, windproof, soil resistant, and anti-microbrial.

Negatives:
The price for Mujjo leather touchscreens may be out of the range of some at aretail for $106.59. The company also produces several other touchscreen gloves at lower price points for those who may be on a budget. The Mujjo Natural Gray touchscreen gloves is $26.61 and the Mujjo Double Layered Touchscreen Gloves is $37.27.

Final verdict: Five out of five.

If you're looking to purchase a high quality pair of leather gloves for yourself or as a present for a loved one, then taking the little extra splurge for Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves instead of "normal" leather gloves which aren't compatible with a touchscreen is absolutely worth it. Once you've used the Mujjo leather touchscreen gloves you'll quickly become spoiled. If you're as addicted to tweeting, texting, and mobile gaming as this author, then the Mujjo leather touchscreen haves are a must-have that'll allow you to text and game in comfort and style.
