Hands on 'Alien Makeout Simulator' at Boston FIG

She looked breathtaking, wearing a stunning red dress which showed every voluptuous curve of her body. Our eyes connected, and for a moment I forgot what lay beneath them. The long night had culminated to this moment. It was now or never. Setting down my wine, I leaned in nervously for a kiss. A moment of hesitation overcame me, wondering which mouth to approach. There were twelve of them. Front and center seemed easiest, and as our lips connected for the first time I felt lost as she wrapped her tentacles around me. "Let's go back to my spaceship," she suggested.

We got intimate with "Alien Makeout Simulator" at the Boston Festival of Indie Games this past weekend in Boston, Mass. This hilarious sim utilizes the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset in a one of a kind way that left everyone who passed the booth laughing hysterically. After donning the headset, you'll choose the gender of your date. From there, your goal is to "make out with as many of the glowing alien lips as you can before time runs out." That's easier said than done though.

Your date has twelve mouths, and you'll have to be quick and observant to figure out what mouth to pair yours with. The lips of the mouths that want to be kissed will glow pink for a longer smooch or blue for a short peck. Leaning your head in the direction of the pair of lips you want to taste will move you towards them, and you'll need to maintain your position long enough to satisfy your date's lusty desires. There's a timer that counts down while you attempt to seduce the extraterrestrial beauty, with a meter that gauges how well you're doing.

Our brief encounter with "Alien Makeout Simulator" lasted only two minutes; however, it's an experience we won't soon forget. We weren't the only one to get lucky either. Later that night the game's developers scored the "Fabulous Flow" award for "Best Single Player Game" at the show.

We're certainly interested in seeing where this quirky title goes in the future. Perhaps as a mini-game part of a larger dating sim? We'll keep you posted.
