Irons Design Co. recently launched a Kickstarter for what the company calls the Gameply - A birch wooden display that holds retro or modern video games that interlock with one another via magnets. Stretch goals will unlock classier woods such as walnut and ebony.
Tiers begin at $37 for three custom Gameplys for early backers and progressively raise in price to up $49 for the same three Gameplys with no added rewards. We understand wanting to give early backers a savings, however four different price models for the same product seems excessive, especially to gamers with sizable collections who'd want to show off their favorite games from every system they own.
This gamer would love to display his favorite Gameboy, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Xbox, and Xbox 360 games in style.
Wouldn't you?
